1 of 5 Stopped working after 1 day Wednesday, January 02, 2008 A Customer from Dearborn, MI
I bought this camera for my daughter for Christmas. On Christmas day we had problems turning it on. After a number of tries the camera did power on. On the 2nd day it powered on, but I could not get it to turn off!! After taking about 12 pictures, I had to send it into Fuji for repair. I am waiting for it to be returned to me. 1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Great value and what I expected Wednesday, December 26, 2007 Bob Giramma from San Diego, CA
I read lots of camera reviews and looked at lots of prices before choosing to buy this camera. I wanted something very compact to take ordinary family pictures and short videos. There are a few similar cameras from Canon and Sony that sound better, but they cost $40 - $70 or so more than the Fuji F480. The only difference for me is the F480 videos are only 320 x 240 rather than 640 x 480 for the others. I was willing to trade-off the video resolution for the lower price. The camera works as expected, so I am satisfied. It's a great value. Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 4 of 5 Battery does not charge in camera Friday, December 14, 2007 A Customer from Provo, UT
A camera is a camera, but there are often little nuances that you wish you had known before you bought it. In this case, it's worth knowing that to charge the battery, you have to take out the lithium-ion battery, and place it in an AC charger. At least it's rechargeable, but there are enough cameras out there that charge simply by plugging in the USB cable to your computer, or at least plugging in an AC adapter to your camera, without having to remove the battery.
