5 of 5 A true workhorse Friday, August 15, 2008 PJ from Santa Cruz
I had the same issue when I bought this card as the previous reviewer (BSOD) few times. I ran the system tests and realized that the motherboard memory was the issue not the card. That memory area was probably not used that heavenly before. Any way after putting in new memories there has not been any problems so far.
It is working like a charm, its hooked to 42" LCD and I use it primarily to play Quake4, Crysis and other games. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Unstable, BSOD, no support from the company Thursday, August 07, 2008 A Customer from Sunnyvale CA
I went through 7 reinstalls of windows XP for this card. Every time my computer was unstable after installing drivers for this card. Will not buy any more AMD/ATI products. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 GOOD for HD TV, but a little loud Monday, April 07, 2008 A Customer from OREGON
Works great for the price (65.xx). Except for the fan, its pretty loud compare to my PYN 8600GTS. I connected to my 37 LCD HD TV. Everything runs great and smooth. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 who made this Saturday, March 15, 2008 A Customer from Dallas Texas
Not started her up yet. still waiting on sale opportunities to finish out the box. However, Diamond MM appears to have disowned this model. Not listed in the products, not listed for driver support. Who's video card is this anyways?? Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Cheap 512MB card... Saturday, March 15, 2008 A Customer from Middleton, WI
Upgraded from a 128MB ATI card to this. Had some issues with the driver installation. Make sure to uninstall ALL ATI software before installing this card. On initial bootup after installing the drivers, I had a blank screen but the computer successfully rebooted. I was able to initiate a reboot using keyboard combination and it came up fine since. The card is a bit loud with the fan, but nothing too bad. Performance is nothing great, but the 512MB is helping me with additional textures I was trying to load when running two copies of EverQuest on the same machine. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great Card for the money Saturday, March 15, 2008 Lin from Virginia Beach VA
I got this for my media center computer that my husband built for me. this is his review.
For the overall price and performance the card is great This is not a high end gaming card but will play games this card was very very easy to install has the HDMI connection for a HDTV or HD Monitor connection.
My husband Owns a custom computer business in VaBEACH Va that deals with really high end machines. I wanted something that i can hook up to my TV to play the small games i play. Was this review helpful?
