I ordered this 4G flash drive for my daughter who is taking several Graphics Arts classes in college. It arrived in about a week. The price well under $20 was a great value. 4gb for under $20 is a good value and Kingston is a well known brand name. I got the chip because I wanted to add my own logo to the side (it is customizable on your own - not pre-printed) this is a unique feature I have not seen elsewhere. I was worried about the slide out connector, had bad luck with that style in the past (pushing in when inserting into pc) but Kingston did a great job at making the the connector lock in the out position and easily retractable for traveling and storage. I like that since I no longer will lose the cap. Was this review helpful?

I paid around the same price a couple years ago for a 2GB. After it broke, I had been meaning to buy another. I saw the deal for the Kingston 4GB and grabbed it right away.
I like that it fits when another USB device is plugged into the top port. It also works as I would expect.
I don't really care for 'personalizing' it with the different 'skins', but I'm sure others do. I also like that it comes with a string with a tiny keyring to take along with your keys. Was this review helpful?

Functionally this thumb drive meets all expectations. How can you miss, it's flash memory with a USB 2.0 interface. I'm disappointed with the case. My other thumb drives have a solid feel, this one seems like they skimped on the plastic. Price of crude oil got ya?

Bought two of them. They are both WHITE NOT BLACK. The skin idea is rather juvenile. The housing is very cheap and probably wouldn't stand much punishment. They do work however and speed is very acceptable. There is a recessed area for the lanyard that is not apparent in the photo. Would rather have a key chain connection of some sort. I just don't trust that little nylon cord. Overall, the device IS worth the sale price. Cheap price = no frills. Was this review helpful?
