Sorry, but my experience with the Maximo 390 earbuds was almost completely opposite of the reviews I read on them. Based on what I read, I ordered three pairs, thinking of a couple for nice gifts. If you are primarily after voice response, the ones they sent me might be OK, but bass reproduction was almost non-existant. Music was shallow. My daughter concurred: "Dad...These S***!" There now exists a credibility gap that has affected how much I have bought from here since then, and I tend to question the reliability/veracity of some reviews. Since these have to be returned to the manufacturer for warranty, you may wish to check out additional opinions, or try to audition a pair first. Hope your experience is better than mine with Maximo so far!

I did not buy them here, but I've been very pleased with their performance, and they are definitely worth paying $15.00 or less as their current rebate offers. Overtime I've found the metal design to be more durable with use, although they tend to be a little cold when first put on.

Obviously can't compete with full size headphones for sound, but good for small earbuds. Great price from Buy.com and the extra connectors are a nice bonus.
